What types of clubs do you refinish or customize?
Nik's Custom Shop specializes in refinishing premium steel irons, wedges, and putters. We can accomdate for almost any request, so request a quote to find out how Nik's Custom Shop can help you!
How do I get started?
Browse the site, check out Nik's Custom Shop on Instagram and Facebook, then fill out the "Request A Quote" form to get started.

From there, Nik will be happy to answer any of your questions and provide you with a quote.
How long will it take to refinish my club(s)?
Depending on the service, turn around times vary. When you receive your quote, we will provide you with estimated timing too.

Refinishing - 2 to 6 weeks
Customization - 1 to 2 weeks
Refinishing + Customization - 2 to 6 weeks
Club Services - 1 week or less.*

How much does it cost to refinish my club(s)?
Pricing varies depending on service, type of clubs, and the number of clubs.

When should/shouldn't I refinish my clubs?
All depends on the type of club or putter. If the value of the refinish exceeds the value to purchase the club/putter, then we do not recommend refinishing the club. However, if the club or putter means a lot to the owner for sentimental reasons, then we'll do whatever we can to make it special. Screen reader support enabled. I need my club(s) by a certain date, do you offer expedited services?
Yes, as long as the timeline is reasonable. Expedited service fees will apply.
Is paint fill included in the refinishing process?
Yes, you have the option of choosing your own paint fill colors.
May I drop off my order in person?
Yes. Please send an email and we will provide you with location details and available times for drop off.
Can I request photos or previews of my golf club(s) throughout the refinising process?
We're happy to answer any of your questions along the way. We will provide updates at our discretion.

Nik's Custom Shop asks that you trust the timeline provided in the original quote. If we predict that timing may change, we will notify you as soon as possible.
We do NOT give personal daily updates.
What types of payment methods do you accept?
Credit Card (invoices sent via email), PayPal, Cash
Do I have to pay for shipping to and from Nik's Custom Shop?
Yes, you are responsible for all shipping fees. We will include the return fees in the final invoice.
How should I ship my Order to you?
Make sure you write clear instructions for the paint fill. You may include instructions or diagram if needed. Any corrections or changes to your order once it has been submitted need to be sent via email to nikscustomshop@gmail.com.
How should I send my club(s)?
We accept shipments from any carrier. At the time your order is placed, we will provide you with the shipping address. When packaging your club(s), a few things to consider...
- size and weight of the box influences price.
- shaft install and removal is extra.
- do NOT ship putters with putter covers. If they're misplaced, Nik's Custom Shop is not responsible.

If you are not looking to replace or install a new shaft, and you have the capability to install your own shaft, we recommend sending the club head(s) ONLY. This allows for smaller boxes + less weight = less expensive.

We recommend wrapping your golf club(s) and/or putter(s) in bubble wrap or newspaper. Please refrain from using trash to protect your precious cargo!

If shipping golf clubs with shaft(s), we DO NOT recommend assembling different boxes together. These are more likely to bend and damage the club during shipment.

We are not responsible for any damaged club(s) via shipping. We will make sure to take before/after photos of each club before returning.
When will I know you've shipped my putter back?
We will ship the club(s) out within 24 - 48 hours of payment or approval of service. The tracking info will be provided.
What shipping service do you use to return clubs?
Our preferred return shipping method is via UPS.
If you provide a pre-paid return label with a different carrier, we will be more than happy to return your club(s) that way.
How do I take care of my refinished club(s)?
- We recommend head covers for putters at all times when not in use.
- Carbon Steel Finishes: after use, keep dry and we recommend coating it with an oil-based solution to protect the look. (DW-40)
